Applications for Membership

West Point will begin accepting applications for new members starting in January 2024.

If you would like to receive an email advising you when the procedure for applying is finalised and published,
please send an email to Membership Director Roger Barnes at roger@rogerbarnes.ca who will add you to the “Interested in Joining” list.


NEW MEMBER REQUIREMENTS:

    The Applicant Must :

    • be at least 55 years of age
    • be able to play to a handicap index of 30 or less
    • meet the qualifying requirements of Wait List candidates (see application form below) to gain membership
    • Undertake to play, as a Member, a minimum of ten games with Club members on regular Thursday playing days
    • participate regularly in Club social and special events

MEMBERSHIP & COMPETITION ELIGIBILITY RETENTION REQUIREMENTS

To maintain membership and competition eligibility in the West Point Golf Club, a member must play each year (Opening Day to Closing Day) a minimum of ten (10) 18 hole rounds with Club members on regular Thursday playing days at the McCleery, Langara or Fraserview golf courses.

MEMBERSHIP ENTITLEMENT

On payment of annual dues, a Member is entitled to participate in all Club activities at no other cost (except payment of green fees) including:

MEMBERSHIP FEES

Regular Playing Member: Annual Fees $150
Unless Otherwise Determined by The Board

New Member Initiation Fee: $50 (if there is no wait list)

Annual Wait List Fee: $50 (to be applied as initiation fee the year of becoming a member)
